“The Right Time”

Paul says that God proves his
love for us through Jesus’ sacrificial death which reconciles (brings us back into right
relationship with God). But the timing of salvation is key. It’s when we are weak that God
display his strength to save (ironically in a display that appears weak to the world-1 Cor. 1) by
bringing us up from the pit. It is when we are blind that God opens our eyes to see. It is when we
were sinners that God provided the perfect sacrifice. It is when we were enemies of God that he
made peace with us. Why is this the right time? Because it’s when we needed it most.
