“Notice the Scars”

Broken Sunday. Jesus is back
from the dead, resurrected to new and everlasting life. And yet, his scars remain. They no longer
cause any pain, but still they are there. In fact, he uses these scars to prove himself to his
disciples. Why? What does this mean? How are our wounds healed/transformed but still visible?
How might God use them in the story of salvation? What does this mean for the wounds and
scars we carry?
